# Playbooks

> AI-powered contract review that standardizes your negotiation positions

## 📖 What is a Playbook?

A **playbook** is a standardized guide for contract review that captures your company's preferred positions, fallback terms, and negotiation considerations. Think of it as a structured way to apply your positions, like a contract review checklist that your AI intern runs through for you.

### How Playbooks Work in GC AI

Playbooks in GC AI is an AI-powered contract review capability (currently in Preview) that applies standard negotiation positions, flags deviations, and suggests redlines and fallback language directly in Microsoft Word. Playbooks standardizes high-volume contract review, helping your team review contracts faster and more consistently.
