Checkbox connects with a Partner API key that your Checkbox admin creates. You enter the key when you connect. GC AI stores the key encrypted and does not show it to the assistant. Checkbox is in beta.

Get a Partner API key

Ask your Checkbox admin to create a key in Checkbox under Settings → Partner API Keys.

Connect in GC AI

Open Settings → Integrations → Agent Connectors, select Connect on Checkbox, and choose your Environment: app.checkbox.ai for production or sandbox.checkbox-app.com for your sandbox. Then enter the key in API Key.

Add your Account ID (optional)

Enter your Account ID if you want GC AI to start Checkbox workflows. Everything else works without it.

What you can do

With Checkbox connected, you can ask GC AI in chat to:
  • Find matters on your boards and check where each one stands
  • Read a matter’s fields, comments, and attached files
  • Create a matter, or update its subject and fields, such as status or priority
  • Add an internal comment, or an external comment that reaches the requester
  • Start a Checkbox workflow, such as routing a reviewed contract for approval
To include a file in a workflow’s file upload field, upload it in Checkbox.
